5 Programming Languages You Won't Use by 2030
#1
Dice has posted an article summarizing 5 programming languages you won't use, or seen being used, by 2030.

The languages:
1. Perl
2. Objective-C
3. Ruby
4. R
5. CoffeeScript

The article and rationale: https://insights.dice.com/2020/02/03/5-p...-use-2030/

What do you programmers think?

Never heard of Coffeescript... LOL.

Objective C? I don't mind it. It just seems... unecessary. It's one of those extra things Apple created just to be Apple. Why not just use C#? It's not the best, but at least it's already standard.

They would never do it though, because C# is Microsoft.

Because they're Apple. Tongue Have to go proprietary on everything.

I had never heard of CoffeeScript either. Maybe its already dead?

There are some odd programming languages out there... No doubt.

Most of them are pretty similar, honestly. Once you learn one, the rest are easy. But there are some (such as haskell) that are very, very strange.
