The state of Arkansas has recently become the 5th state in the U.S. to become a Constitutional Carry state. The other states that already have constitutional carry are Wyoming, Vermont, Arizona and Alaska.
Constitutional Carry means you can legally carry a handgun, whether openly or concealed, without having a permit from the government.
I don't know how I feel about allowing concealed carry. In my state you need to take a course and then get a permit if you would like to conceal carry.

You can kill someone with any weapon, you don't need a gun. Guns allow those that would otherwise be defenseless to protect themselves.
Correct, but that doesn't mean Gun crime isn't high in the US. And if you didn't have weapons as freely available you'd have less need to use them for defense. The rest of us get by just fine.

No matter how much people try to make that argument, actual statistics do not support those claims.
